I have seen a few people blogging about the prom, specifically their prom dresses today, so I decided to jump in on the fun!  I went to my senior prom in May of 2001 {wow I'm old}.  I bought this dress for under $100 at Lord & Taylor.  I loved that it was bold, and yet very simple.  I had hoped I would get a lot of use out of it. Well I think I got more than my money's worth on it!  Not only did I wear it to my senior prom, I wore it to lots of other events over the years as well! When I was in college, I started a Word document collection of quotes, song lyrics, and phrases that jumped out at me.  I'm not exactly sure why I started it, but by the end of my four years, it had grown to 180 pages and over 56,000 words. I have to tell you though starting, and completing, that Word document is one of the best things I ever did.  I can spend hours looking through it some nights, reliving every moment of my college years...good, bad, and epic.  My four years spent in college were some of the most defining moments of my life.  The person I was when I went in, was far  from the person I was when I went out.  Every class, all-nighter, club, kiss, and random outing shaped who I am today.  And I'm so glad I have something  besides memories to remember it all.
