We had such a wonderful time at Little M's birthday party the other day....but more importantly, she had a BLAST!!  She was so excited to see her whole family, open presents, and eat some cupcakes!  I cannot believe I will have a three year old tomorrow!!  The absolute joy on her face was simply priceless 3 going on 15 Did NOT want to have her picture taken Happy little sister! Dancing girls My blue-eyed babies Playing balloons My angel Ps....and a very happy birthday today to my first furbaby Shiba!! Can't believe she's 7 already!!!

In this picture {from Christmas} you can see what our 'fake' leather ottoman looks like. When I got it last spring, it was exactly what this room needed.  It is a storage ottoman and is a perfect place to hide all of Little M's toys when they are not strewn about the living room.  It really tied the space together as well.  I got it from Walmart and was really happy with what I got for the price.  I also know that I can't spend a lot of money on furniture these days with a toddler and two rambunctious puppies. Well apparently there is another member of the family who does not share my love for the ottoman.   This guy....{this is his guilty face} A few weeks ago Skip, Little M, and I headed out to run some errands.  Mr. B was sleeping peacefully on the couch so we just left him out.  Well apparently while we were gone he decided that he needed to TEAR APART THE TOP OF THE OTTOMAN!!  You can imagine how furious I was when we got home.  Even tho...

Mr. B...let's take this ball and go up the stairs to take it inside We have to sneak past Mom first...don't look at her! Are you coming Mr. B? Okay, I'll try it out first See you go up one step at a time You're getting it! We're doing it now! {Don't worry, I busted them before they got any farther. But I'm sure they are plotting to do this again!}

Apparently Mr. B {our bulldog} was failing at decorating his cage, or so Little M thought. So she decided to help him out by adding a patriotic candle holder!

Our bulldog Mr. B has the best life! He spends his days dozing in the sun and getting some snuggles from his best buddy! Pretty nice way to spend the day!
