I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but here in Jersey the weather gets a little strange here once the calender switches to September.  It's still really warm during the day {70's and 80's} but it drops down to the 60's, 50's and sometimes even 40's at night.  And since it's post labor day, it's not exactly appropriate to be rocking all my summer favorites.  So this often poses a real challenge when it comes to clothes. The past few years, since I'm a SAHM, I have just lived in yoga pants, a tank top, and a zippie {a zip-up hooded sweatshirt} most of the time.  But since I have to take Emmy to school now, I don't want to be that frumpy mom standing in the pick-up and drop-off area.  Here are some of the outfits I've been throwing together.  I've been working hard on finding things that I can easily add or take away clothes as the temperature changes, instead of changing my outfit 109834598 times a day. {Sorry for the...

I have got a busy few days coming up in front of me!  Tomorrow Skip and I are taking Little M to the Imagination Movers Concert {OMG I cannot even begin to describe how excited I am to take her!} Then tomorrow night I'm heading down to Newark to pick up my friend B {the one we stayed with in Florida}.  I guess he missed us already as he is coming to spend the weekend with us!  We're also having a BBQ for him and 10 other of our friends on Friday.  Then my college bestie might be coming down to see me and the girls next week {!!!!!!!!!!!} So I am super excited for all these fun things but also slightly overwhelmed today with all the cleaning, laundry, food shopping and prepping I have to do today and tomorrow morning.  So all I can handle today is a little I Phone photo dump.  My posts for the next few days will be spotty at best, but look for the *cutest* video of my sweet M tomorrow! I can't believe I forgot to post this on here, but two weeks ago I got my hair cut....short.  Like really, really short.  Now I've never really liked my hair short.  I'm definitely more of a long-hair kinda girl.  But I've treated my hair pretty badly the past few years with all the bleaching, blow-drying, straightening, and whatnot.  The ends were totally fried.  I had still only been getting trims though to try and preserve the length.  But two weeks ago I decided I just needed to start over.  My friend L is a hairdresser and came over to do the chop.  I asked her to cut off all the dead ends, as short as it needed to be.  Here is the end result. crappy phone pic She gave me such a wonderful cut, but it is definitely taking some getting used to....I can't even put it up!  But it is sooooooo much healthier than it has ever been!  So I just have to baby the crap out of it and hopefully it will start growing soon!!!
