I'm so far behind on things I want to blog about, but all I can manage today is a few pictures of my sweet girls. A few weeks ago, we got Emmy's school picture sent home.  It was absolutely adorable as always. If you'll notice, we did not get one for Charlie.  Apparently she's very particular about who takes her picture, and wanted nothing to dow with it at school. I was a little sad to not have her sweet little face captured, so instead, I snapped a few pictures this morning.  First we got a few outtakes: But then she warmed up and I got a few keepers! Couldn't leave out big sis... And I absolutely love these ones!

Popsicle Party

Image
A few weeks ago, Charlie had her Popsicle Party at school.  It's a fun playdate for the kids to get to know their teachers and new classmates.  We've gone the past few years with Emmy, and now it was Charlie's turn! She had a great day, running around and hugging as many people as she could.  She is definitely a little love and I know her class is lucky to have her. I'm so proud of my little baby!

Charlie's First Day of School

Image
Today my baby went off to preschool.  My baby!  My sweet precious girl that has been home with me for over four years now. Now someone else will watch over her all day.  Today and tomorrow are half days, but after that, she'll be gone days a week, full day of school It's going to be a big change. I'm not sure she's ready. I'm not sure I'm ready. But with other things in life, sometimes you just have to jump right in and hope to come out okay on the other end. We'll both struggle, but both thrive as well. And for today?  She walked in confidently...only waving goodbye to me as she started exploring. Even I haven't shed a tear yet {though that could change} So now I'm off to hang out with my man :)

A Fishy Good Time

We had a wonderful day celebrating Charlie's fourth birthday.  We got up early to open presents and have some donuts for breakfast. Then we headed off to the aquarium as a family.  We've been there before and absolutely love it.  It's not too big and perfectly kid friendly. After we came home, we relaxed for the afternoon and had some dinner and of course some cake! The rest of the night was spent playing with all her new toys. We love you so much Charlie Bear...and hope you had a day as special as you!
