I'm very excited about this week's Sunday Favorites and hope a lot of people link up!  This week's topic is what is your favorite recipe? When Skip and I were first married, I was ridiculously excited to start making all different kinds of meals for him and our friends.  We both loved to entertain and were constantly throwing dinner parties and other small get-togethers with our friends.  I was always in search of a recipe that could become my 'signature'.  I wanted something that people would love and would always want me to make.  I wanted something I could pass down to my children, something I would be known for.  At our very first Christmas party in 2005 I found it.  Tucked in with some recipes I received at William Sonoma when we registered for our wedding, was a recipe for Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Crostini.  It looked delicious and I thought the red and white colors would look great on our Christmas table.  image found at WilliamSono...

This week's Sunday Favorites is what is your favorite perfume? Mine is Clinique Happy. I used a sample of it for my senior prom and I've been hooked ever since. My mom buys me a new bottle for Christmas every year so I always have plenty. I will switch it up with some others, but this is my 'signature scent' that I always come back to! What is your favorite perfume? Link up and hop around!!

Happy Sunday everyone!  As I said yesterday, this week's Sunday Favorites topic is what is your favorite movie and why? My all-time favorite, must watch it every time it's on TV, never get sick of it, movie is Notting Hill. image from google.com I saw it when it first came out and I have loved it ever since.  I mean really, do you get much better romantic-comedy acting than Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant?  I think not. image from google.com It is really really funny, super romantic, and British {just like me!  haha}.  I mean you really can't go wrong.  But I'd have to say that one of the main reasons I love this movie so much is for the quotes.  The dialogue is really fantastic.  Here are just a few of my favorites. Anna Scott: Busy tomorrow? William: I thought you were leaving tomorrow? Anna Scott: I was . Anna Scott: Can I stay for a while? William: You can stay forever. William: It's as if I've taken love heroin, and now I can'...

Big things are happening this week for Sunday Favorites.  Now YOU can join in the fun!  I have made my very own button and added a linky at the end of the post!  {Please don't make fun of my button.  I know it's ridiculously simple, but it's all I could handle right now!} So grab my button, add it to your post, and link up below! This week's top is Favorite Vacation Spot I have been very lucky to visit some wonderful places in my lifetime....Barbados, Florida, Punta Cana, London, Paris.  But so far, my favorite vacation destination is San Diego, CA.  Back in the summer of 2004 Skip was stationed at Camp Pendleton for pre-deployment training.  He got a few days leave over the Fourth of July so I flew out there to be with him and just fell in love with the city!  I'm not typically a fan of big cities, but San Diego was cleaner, more laid back, and way less overwhelming than most cities I have been to.  The beaches were huge and relaxing.  ...

Today's Sunday Favorites is what is your favorite store to buy maternity clothes? Okay, let's all be honest for a minute.  If you are anyone other than a millionaire who has an unlimited income to spend on clothes you can only wear for a few months, then maternity clothes are ugly.  Sure they've come a long way since our moms and grandma's were sporting pregnant bellies, but they are far from flattering.  I've seen some great pieces, but I definitely can't afford to spend $150 on jeans and $60 each for shirts.  I try and make due with as many pre-pregnancy items as I can {shirts, yoga pants, sweats, etc.}  but they can only last for so long before my thights, butt, and arms completely outgrow them.  So what's a girl on a modest budget suppose to do? Enter Old Navy.  My most favorite maternity store.  They are relatively inexpensive and I think their clothes are the cutest ones you can get on a tigh budget.  Also, alot of their regular clothes...

This week's Sunday Favorite is what is your all-time favorite TV show?  Not your current favorite, but the one you could watch every day, the one that has stood the test of time.  It took me a little while to narrow down my choice to just one.  I've had a lot of favorites over the years.... I like TV, what can I say!  But there is one show that I can watch for months, miss it for a few years, and pick right back up where I was before.  I can {and do} watch it every day.  It's a show I've been watching on and off for 25 years!  Not only has it stood my test of time, but others as well since it has been on for almost 50 years.  So what is it?  What is my absolute favorite show of all time? Seriously, I love it.  I mean hello, James Franco is even on it!  If you're looking for an afternoon show, definitely check it out! So what about you?  What is you all-time favorite show?

I've decided to start a new tradition here on Mommy Musings.  I want to start something called Sunday Favorites.  Every Sunday I will post about a different favorite of mine {flowers, meals to make, shops, etc.} and why.  Feel free to join in!  I would love to create a button for this but I honestly have no idea how! {anyone want to help?}  Okay, here we go! Today's Sunday Favorite is flowers.  My favorite flower is the tulip.  image found at google.com I had always thought they were beautiful.  I love how simple they are, and how different they look whether open or closed.  My love for them was sealed though when I was a senior in college.  Skip and I were engaged and he was deployed to Iraq.  My mom found a bookmark for me with a tulip pin attached.  On the bookmark was a poem about a woman waiting for her betrothed in a field of tulips {it would be perfect if I could FIND the poem, but I have no idea where the bookmark ...
