New Fall Finds

Image
We are officially knee deep in fall {in case you missed someone posting a picture of a PSL on Instagram}.  It's no secret that I attempt to cling to summer as long as I can.  But with highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's, I think I'm finally going to have to put away the flip flops. To ease the blow of the cooler temperatures, I always treat myself to a few new things to add to my wardrobe.  {By the way this is not a sponsored post, just things I bought recently that I'm loving!}  Kohls and Target have been my go-to places recently when I need clothes.  Almost every day in the fall, I can be seen in some combination of the follow: tall boots, skinny jeans, tank top, cardigan or tunic, scarf.  I know, pretty much what most women my age are wearing these days...but there's a reason...it's so cute and comfy!  I wanted to add a few tops in my wardrobe this year to help change things up a little.  Here are the pieces I got! Kohls: I actually got this...

Fashionista Friday

Image
Lindsey is bringing back her Fashionista Friday Link-up and you know I just had to join in with my Jersey girl!! Today's topic is Favorite Neutrals, and this is what I came up with: Blacks and browns are my g0-to neutrals in the fall, and love that the leopard print spices them up a little! What neutrals are you wearing these days? Happy weekend everyone!!

What I Wore Wednesday

I've been really trying to make more of an effort when I get dressed these days.  One, I can't really justify buying any new cute clothes if I never wear the ones I already have.  And two, I really do  feel better about myself, and more ready to take on the day when I'm wearing something other than yoga pants. Now I am no fashion blogger, that's for sure, but here's a few things I've thrown together recently. As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of skinnies, scarves, and layers these days! Don't worry, as husb will attest to, I still rock my sweatpants pretty regularly too;-) I've been trying to pull a lot of my fashion inspiration for Pinterest these days.  What about you?  How do you put together outfits?

eShakti Review and $30 Giveaway!!

Image
I have talked about my love of eShakti a few times before here on the blog.  I wore a dress of theirs for my sister's wedding, and I got *tons* of compliments on the last dress I received as well. So obviously I jumped at the chance to review another one of their pieces as well.  This time I chose a shirt to try, to mix it up a little. What I love most about eShakti is that it totally revolutionizes online shopping.  By being able to customize both the style and size of the piece you want down to the tiniest detail, you know the item you receive in the mail will fit like a glove and be exactly what you hoped for.  And have you checked out their new fall line?!? Classic, feminine, and even some chevron too!! I love being able to tweak the hemline or sleeve length to exactly what I want.  How many times have you fallen in love with a shirt, but not gotten it because it was a little too short?  No longer a problem with eShakti!! I mean seriously, how gorge...

Preschool Fashion Diaries

I have to admit, I absolutely love getting Emmy dressed before school in the morning.  It's just so fun to pick out little outfits for her!  And since she'll be in a uniform next year, I'm going to soak it up while I can. Here are some of the looks we've come up with this year! The denim jacket is what totally makes most of these outfits! I get most of Emmy's clothes from Carters.  I'll also grab some pieces at Old Navy and Kohls. I'm linking up with Kelly today!!

NJ All Day - A Cafe Press Review

Image
I've talked about my love of Cafe Press before .  It is a company I have used for years and really believe in.  Every product I have ever received is of the highest quality and I have been nothing but pleased. As I said in my last post , I had a really difficult time trying to decide what to review this time.  There were a few hoodies and sweatshirts I had my eye on, as well as a Marine Corps coffee mug for Skip. But when I saw these pajamas, I knew I had to have them!!  I mean seriously , how perfect are these for me.  Photo taken from Cafepress.com The t-shirt fits me perfectly and I love that it is longer and contoured, not baggy like most pajama tops can be.  It is made with 100% cotton.  I washed and dried {in the dryer} this shirt several times.  There has been no shrinking and the decal still looks as perfect as the day I got it in the mail.  The pajama pants are the perfect shade of pink, and so soft .  They're warm enough...

If you haven't been shopping at Cafe Press, then you need to be!

I am so excited to be partnering with the following company to share some of their fabulous products with you. I have been a fan of Cafe Press for years.  Seriously, years.  I mean I bought almost this exact same tank top from them for my Marine's Girls when Skip and their boyfriends were deployed.  I have purchased several other Marine Corps-like items from them, such as a Marine Corps Fiance long-sleeved tee, and two "I support my Marine" zip-up hooded sweatshirts.  I most recently purchased a photo canvas and was blown away by the quality.  I cannot tell you the amount of compliments we get on it.  Up close detail There are so many amazing products on this site!  From pajamas to fun shirts to design your own t-shirts , they have it all!  I'm really torn on what I should get next.  Here are some options I have come up with. Cause who loves NJ more than me?!? This would keep me so warm at the games next year! Skip would appreciate...

eShakti Does It Again!

Image
I have talked about my love of eShakti before.  In fact I was so pleased with the dress I got from them that I wore it to my sister's wedding.  I mean a dress this gorgeous, with pockets?!  It was a no brainer.  And I cannot even begin to count the amount of compliments I received on the dress.   So when eShakti asked if I would review another dress I practically squealed with excitement.  Because when you order from eShakti you know  it is going to fit you just perfectly. I know what you're thinking...have I lost my marbles completely?! Haven't I ever shopped online before?  Am I some weird perfect size that fits all clothes immediately? The answers to those are yes, and most certainly no. But eShakti takes all the worry out of ordering online.  Because no only do they have clothes in standard size 0-36W, but you can also just put in your measurements if a standard size doesn't work. But the fun doesn't stop there.  Take the Ashley d...
