A Day with Dad
A few weeks ago, Skip was working a lot and Emmy was really missing him. So when he was actually off on a Sunday, they decided to make it a day of fun together! Emmy requested fishing, out at a restaurant for lunch, and horse-riding....done Skip said! They got up early to head off. First they had to gather all their fishing supplies and buy some worms, ewww . They headed up to Skip's old high school where there is a pond they stock with fish. Apparently Emmy was a natural and loved getting to catch so many sunnies and even a big bass fish!! They headed out to lunch at the diner next and Emmy thoroughly enjoyed her chicken fingers and french fries. Skip said it was nice to finally just sit, talk, and enjoy a meal with one of our girls without tantrums {sorry Charlie} They finished off their day with a little horse-riding for Emmy.
