Their Own Lullaby
We sing a lot of songs at bedtime in this house. 'Baby Mine', 'Silent Night' at Christmas time, 'Twinkle, Twinkle', etc. But I wanted the girls to each have a song of their own...a song that was special just for them. After some good long thinking and a little tweaking, each of my girls was sung 'their' song just after they were born. Little M's song is 'O Danny Boy'....except I changed it to 'O Meredith' Oh Meredith, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying 'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide. Baby C has her own sweet song too. Hers required no changing...it is Amazing Grace. This is her song because Grace is her middle name. Ama...
