Charlie's First Day of School

Today my baby went off to preschool.  My baby!  My sweet precious girl that has been home with me for over four years now.




Now someone else will watch over her all day.  Today and tomorrow are half days, but after that, she'll be gone days a week, full day of school


It's going to be a big change.


I'm not sure she's ready.


I'm not sure I'm ready.


But with other things in life, sometimes you just have to jump right in and hope to come out okay on the other end.


We'll both struggle, but both thrive as well.



And for today?  She walked in confidently...only waving goodbye to me as she started exploring.


Even I haven't shed a tear yet {though that could change}




So now I'm off to hang out with my man :)
