Weddings, Engagements, Giants, Oh My!
I'm in a rush and don't have the brain capacity for a real, raw, from the heart kind of blog post today, so I thought I'd link up with Darci again for another Five on Friday!
{ONE} My college friend J is getting married today, and I cannot wait to head up to her wedding! It's been a few years since I've seen all the girls and I am so looking forward to catching up and dancing the night away.
{TWO} I cannot tell you just how happy it made me to be watching football last night. I do hate that the start of preseason means that fall is just around the corner, but I'll put up with it just to see a few games after a long season apart! Even better? My boys are on tomorrow night. GO BIG BLUE!!
{THREE} We had been trying for weeks to get together with some of Emmy's little friends from school, but plans and the weather just kept getting in the way. Finally, on Wednesday a few of us were able to meet up! Emmy was just beside herself with excitement. It was so cute to get to see her run around with her little buddies again. Only a few weeks till school starts!!
{FOUR} Skip and I got engaged NINE years ago yesterday. I seriously cannot believe how time flies. I remember it like it was just yesterday. Saying yes to him was the easiest question I have ever had to answer. It will be our 10 year dating anniversary at the end of August and I can't wait to go out and celebrate a decade with my man!
{FIVE} Skip and I cannot stop watching Homeland. Seriously. We watched both seasons in a matter of a few months. We then rewatched season 1 and are in the middle of season 2. We clearly have a problem. On the plus side, I think I've figured out who the CIA leak is! September 29th needs to get here already....before I watch it all for a third time!

Congrats on 10 years! My husband and I have been married a year, but celebrated 10 years together in July!
