Here is a compilation of pictures of my English Bulldog, Braddock...more commonly known as "Mr. B" He will be a year old on May 24th. He is just a great big fat smelly mess, and I love him so much! Look how much he's grown!
Welcome to another week of workout Wednesdays! Have you ever seen someone in the blog world in really great shape and wondered what they do to look that great? Ever struggling for motivation or fresh new workout ideas? That's what I want this space to be for. So come link up your workouts with me! Here is what I have been up to the past week: Wednesday: None Thursday: None Friday: None Saturday: 5 mile run / ab roller Sunday: 6.5 mile run {1 mile PR 7:38 / 5K PR 26:08} Monday: Tabata workout / ab roller Tuesday: 4 mile run Weekly total miles: 15.5 Monthly total miles: 43.3 Weekly total workouts:4 I was feeling pretty under the weather in the beginning of the week, and also a little burnt out on running, so I took a few days off. It's important to know when to push yourself, and also when to take a break. One of the biggest things I've learned recently about fitness is if you really want to push yourself, one of the best ways to do that is to find some...
Charlie has always leaned more towards stuffed animals and toys than hard plastic ones like Emmy. So I knew that she would prefer to test out the Bedlite Buddy we received from Nuby. According to Nuby: The Bedlite Buddies are GREAT cuddle buddies. Their faces light up and sing when you hug them! They like to go to bed on time and get tucked-in. Bedlight Buddies are made of soft and colorful materials that stimulate your child's senses. The built in night lights brightens up the face, bringing a smile to your child. The buddies come in either a bee, turtle, or frog, and we got to review the bee. I just love his little antennae! This is truly an adorable toy. When you press on the stomach {or give him a hug!} the face lights up and it plays a song for about 30 seconds before turning itself off. What I love most about this toy is that it doesn't just play one song. Each time your hug your buddy he plays a different song, such as “...
Happy Thursday everyone! I'll be honest, I almost didn't link up today. Mainly because there's really not much to report. Here's what I did: Thursday September 19 - none Friday - nothing Saturday - 2.5 mile walk Sunday - nada Monday - zip Tuesday - nothin' Wednesday - no thing Weekly Total - 2.5 August total - 31.4 Yeaaaaaah...so that whole 50, maybe 60 miles I was hoping for this month is not going to happen. In my defense, I seem to have come down with the plague and have been sick all week. Saturday was the only day I felt kind of normal. I always have trouble pushing myself when I have a cold to workout, and normally end up just sitting on the couch under a blanket instead. I really do miss working out though and will hopefully be able to get a little something done to finish out the month. What about you? Do you still workout when you're sick? How do you motivate yourself?
awhhh, i love him! especially the picture of him sleeping with his widdle tongue sticking out!! :) WHAT a cutie!
