Honest Scrap

WAHOO!!!  I was very excited the other morning when I got a comment from Young Wife/Mom over at I Took the One Less Travelled By... saying that she had awarded me with this fabulousness!

It is my first ever award, so I'm pretty excited about it!!!  (in case you couldn't already tell)  Ok, so now I'm supposed to share 10 true things about myself that you all may not know, give it away to some other deserving people, and let them know they've been awarded.  I feel like coming up with the 10 things is going to be hard,  but I will give it my best shot.

1. There might have been years here and there that were tougher than others, but I have really loved every stage of my life.  I hope this continues in the years to come.

2. I don't mind calling my friends at all, but I really hate calling companies.  It's totally irrational but I get very anxious about having to do it.  The same goes for talking to people in stores.  It is for this reason that I LOVE the self check-out aisles popping up in stores.

3. Almost every time Skip leaves the house, I think something terrible is going to happen to him.  I think it has to do with the time he spent in Iraq, when I was always preparing myself for the worst.

4. I am a HUGE fan of pop and hip hop music...I would fit right in with a group of 16 year-olds! (though I do draw the line at the Jonas brothers...I just can't take them seriously)

5. I would love to one day be a pastry chef or be an interior decorator, even though I have no training in either field.  

6. I am probably one of the biggest New York Giants fans in the world.  I have tons of t-shirts, jerseys, socks, pants, toys, statues, books, and magazines.  I have waited for hours and hours for autographs from players.  I go to as many games as possible.  I scream like a trucker whenever they mess up during a game, and do push ups every time they score.  

7. I have the worst eating habits in the world.  I am completely addicted to Diet Coke and often eat cookies for breakfast.  The only time I really ate well was when I was pregnant.  I really hope I don't pass these bad habits on to Little M.

8.  All my life people have called me "the little blond one".  I like this and always considered a compliment.  However, I think I associate myself with this a little too much and got very upset when I was pregnant and no long little or blond.

9. Even though I live so close to it, I hate going to New York City.  I just think it's more trouble than it's worth.

10.  It took me an HOUR to write these...pathetic I know.  I was also distracted by watching the most recent episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager though (my guilty pleasure)
