I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but here in Jersey the weather gets a little strange here once the calender switches to September. It's still really warm during the day {70's and 80's} but it drops down to the 60's, 50's and sometimes even 40's at night. And since it's post labor day, it's not exactly appropriate to be rocking all my summer favorites. So this often poses a real challenge when it comes to clothes. The past few years, since I'm a SAHM, I have just lived in yoga pants, a tank top, and a zippie {a zip-up hooded sweatshirt} most of the time. But since I have to take Emmy to school now, I don't want to be that frumpy mom standing in the pick-up and drop-off area. Here are some of the outfits I've been throwing together. OH MY GOODNESSS...this was me today!!!! I'm subscribing to the posts on this one because my 9 month old did the same thing today. We ended up driving in the van to get a nap. :(
ReplyDeleteI hope this is a phase for you. Be encouraged that you're a great mom, and that it won't last forever. Someday they'll be too old for naps.
We found that ultimately you have to leave the baby in there to scream it out for 15 minute increments until they realize that you aren't giving in. It is A LOT harder than it sounds... You can do it though, and I promise Little M won't be scared.
