Preschool Fashions - Girl Mom Style
I am, and always have been, a total girlie girl. So having two daughters that I can dress up in pink, bows, and tutus, has pretty much been my favorite thing ever. But with Emmy starting preschool now, there's a lot more pressure to make sure she looks nice.
I want her to look cute and stylish, but also comfortable and in clothes she can easily play in. Though she is going to a private Catholic elementary school, there are no clothing requirements {until she starts kindergarten and wears a uniform} except that she has to wear sneakers on Fridays for gym class. The freedom is nice, but also makes choosing clothes harder...throw in the crazy warm/cold weather we've been having and I'm constantly scrambling for something to put her in.
I'm also not one to spend a lot of money on my kids clothes. Sure I want them to last {both through Emmy and Charlie when she's bigger} but they grow out of them so fast it's just not worth it to me. So most of the girls clothes are from Old Navy and Kohls.
These are some of the outfits I've come up with so far:
And don't even get my startd on her hair. Emmy has always had really thick, really fine hair with a natural deep side part. It's gorgeous and I'm completely jealous. But it's also constantly in her face...not good for school. The amount of hair spray and gel we have to use every morning now is ridiculous! Any good hair tips moms?
So what are you dressing your preschooler in this year? Am I totally over thinking this? All I know is that I cannot WAIT for the uniform years!

| The shoes are fake TOMS that I got off Zulily |
| You gotta look stylish dropping off your big sis as well! |

Oh my gosh, little girl clothing is so cute! Sometimes I just wish I could still pull of wearing what they wear! Your girls are adorable. I wore a uniform from K to 5th grade and I still had problems (aka I NEVER wanted to wear pants, only skirts! haha) Have a happy Saturday! xoxo - Hope
