I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but here in Jersey the weather gets a little strange here once the calender switches to September. It's still really warm during the day {70's and 80's} but it drops down to the 60's, 50's and sometimes even 40's at night. And since it's post labor day, it's not exactly appropriate to be rocking all my summer favorites. So this often poses a real challenge when it comes to clothes.
The past few years, since I'm a SAHM, I have just lived in yoga pants, a tank top, and a zippie {a zip-up hooded sweatshirt} most of the time. But since I have to take Emmy to school now, I don't want to be that frumpy mom standing in the pick-up and drop-off area. Here are some of the outfits I've been throwing together. I've been working hard on finding things that I can easily add or take away clothes as the temperature changes, instead of changing my outfit 109834598 times a day. {Sorry for the crappy pictures...my mirror and the lighting in my room are terrible}

Well, my current go-to outfits include sweat pants and capris. Once I can button my pants again, I might consider trying more seasonal apparel. You look adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI love it all!! We have the same kind of weather in September around here, starts out chilly in the morning and by mid afternoon it's warming up. And then down into the 40s and 50s at night. I'm usually a fan though. By September I'm over all of my Summer clothes and ready to change it up! I heart boots, scarves, and layers! And I have to know where some of the things you are wearing came from! The grey cardi over the white sleeveless. The pink and white striped tanktop! Where are they from? I must have them!! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, you are tiny. Two things: where do you find your skinnies? I have a hard time finding them that fit my body...do you? And also, if you ever do a blog sale, let me know. I rarely see small sizes!!
