Frankenstorm is Coming
So apparently we're getting a huge storm here in Jersey starting tomorrow and lasting through Halloween. Frankenstorm...the perfect storm...hurricane meets a N'oreaster....whatever the name it's going to be big, epic. We've dealt with hurricanes and snowstorms in October before, and sadly I know how damaging they can be.
We've been prepping for the past few days. Bought lots of food and water, grabbed some extra flashlights, cleared out the basement as much as we can, and filled up our gas cans ready to start the generator. I've already decided to keep Emmy home from school Monday and Tuesday when it is supposed to be the worst.
Family and friends have already offered to help me, as Skip has to work Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night...possibly with mandatory overtime.
I'm tired just thinking about all this.
So if you're in the storm's path, stay safe! And could the rest of you say a pray that the damage isn't too bad!!
If we lose power I obviously won't be posting on here any time soon. Be back next week sometime!!
