Hey, It's Okay!
If you follow me on Twitter, you know the girls and I have been sick for oh about ten days now. First Emmy with a cold, and now me with a nasty sinus infection and Charlie with an ear infection. I haven't been this sick in a really long time. So needless to say blogging, and all my new year's resolutions have taken a back seat. I just want to feel better again!
So in order to cheer myself up, I thought it would be fun to link up with Whispering Writer at Airing My Dirty Laundry for her Hey, It's Okay! Tuesday.
Hey, It's Okay....
- to have worn nothing but pj's for the past week. I'll get dressed eventually husb!
- to want to get better just so I can work out and clean
- to not have been able to put down The Host by Stephenie Meyer....so good!
- to be shocked at the things people spend lots of money on
- to not fall victim to 'Twitter Trends' {buying the same clothes, accessories, products as everyone}
- to write sponsored posts...I'll take any extra income where I can from here
- to have baby fever but know we're not having any more babies
- to be ridiculously excited about Pretty Little Liars tonight..who else is Team Ezria?
- to think a lot of the new clothes Old Navy is putting out are ugly
- to clean the downstairs part of my house way more than the upstairs...it's the only part company sees!
- to be sad that football season is almost over ;(
- to not understand why everyone is acting like Ray Lewis is some kind of hero. Don't you all remember that he was charged with murder just a few years ago?
- to have made the decision to stay away from all mommy wars and blogging cliques. It's easy to get mixed in, but I've decided to leave that pettiness to the middle schoolers.
Hopefully we'll all start to feel better and I'll be back to regular blogging soon!!

Love this post! I agree with everything on here. Especially team Ezra. Can't wait for pll to tonight. And ugh the mommy wars and blogging qliques.
ReplyDeleteI'll do sponsored posts too. Though usually I don't get cash, I usually get a free product. Which is still nice!
ReplyDeleteI roll my eyes at the mommy wars.
Hope you start feeling better!
ReplyDeleteHey, I follow you on twitter too (I'm EMBRACEITMYWAY) in case you were wondering lol
ReplyDeletehopefully the sickies will be gone so you can get back to feeling normal again.
I love the social media world, if not for the cute pictures but also because I learn & see things I like, but yes, I too have days where I shut them down :)
Happy New Year!
Smart to stay out of anything that remotely reminds oneself of high school
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Being sick with kids who are also sick is no fun!
