A Big Girl Blanket
As much as I don't like to admit it, my baby girl, Charlie, is definitely growing up. In fact I just realized that she will be two in a little less than four months....crazy!
With this new growth, comes a lot of exciting milestones. Charlie can now safely have a pillow and blanket in her crib. One night I just grabbed an extra pillow and princess case out of Emmy's room and threw that in the crib. Charlie was in love. But I wanted to take my time and find the perfect blanket for her.
As a second child, poor Charlie often has to deal with hand-me-downs. But I wanted a blanket that was special just for her. I also didn't want it to be a baby blanket. I wanted her to have something super soft, and large enough for her to cuddle and cover her while she's sleeping.
Thankfully I found all of this in the Nuby Fleece Baby Blanket.
While it is called the Baby Blanket, this super soft blanket can definitely carry your little one from baby-hood through toddler-hood.
The 100% polyester blanket is super soft. At 30 inches by 40 inches, the size is more than generous to cover Charlie while she sleeps, but isn't so large that she can't carry it around to snuggle with.
It has rich colors and study stitching along the corners, so I'm not worried about the edges fraying.
I will definitely be purchasing these for all the soon-to-be new moms I know!

ReplyDeleteLove the blanket. M doesn't have a "lovey". She never got attached to anything other than a pink monkey that she now wears as a necklace sometimes. Haha!
this is so sweet and reminds me of my blanket (that I may or may not still sleep with) that I got when I was wee bit younger than C.
