Who Am I?

I'm linking up with Becky to kick off her 52 weeks of blogging with a purpose.

This week's topic is Who I Am.

I could sit here and talk about how I'm a mother, a wife, a former teacher, etc.  But then I cam across this picture that Emmy took of me recently.

She was taking a picture of me while I was taking a picture of her.

I think you can learn a lot about me from this simple pictures.

You can see a lot of my physical characteristics, I'm blond, thin, have really bony collar bones.  But if you look closer, you can see so much more than that.

You can see that when I'm home I'm a very simple person, no make-up, hair up in a bun, comfy clothes.

You can assume I must really like pink if I'm a 30 year old mom who has a hot pink phone case.

You can see that I'm thrifty and kind of cheap because I bought those pj pants when I was 18 and a freshman in college.  So yes I've been wearing them for 12 years.

You can tell I keep my house pretty clean because I have no problem sitting on the floor.

You can assume I spend a lot of time on Pinterest because I painted the interior of my front door black.

You can tell that I really love my kids and would do anything for them, because this picture represents half an hour of taking pictures with and of Emmy, just because she asked me to.

Never thought you could learn that much from just one picture huh?
