Memories in Words

When I was in college, I started a Word document collection of quotes, song lyrics, and phrases that jumped out at me.  I'm not exactly sure why I started it, but by the end of my four years, it had grown to 180 pages and over 56,000 words.

I have to tell you though starting, and completing, that Word document is one of the best things I ever did.  I can spend hours looking through it some nights, reliving every moment of my college years...good, bad, and epic.  My four years spent in college were some of the most defining moments of my life.  The person I was when I went in, was far from the person I was when I went out.  Every class, all-nighter, club, kiss, and random outing shaped who I am today.  And I'm so glad I have something besides memories to remember it all.

So today I thought I'd share just a sampling of the thousands of quotes that described a time and a moment I never wanted to forget.  Enjoy!! {I don't have time to search and see exactly who wrote each of these quotes or lyrics...just know that none of them are from me...nor am I taking credit for them}  Sorry this is so long...I really tried to shorten it!

There are easier things in life than finding a good man. Nailing Jell-O to a tree for instance.

It's amazing how one little conversation can change things forever.

I always knew that I`d look back on the times I cried and laugh,but I never knew that I`d look back on the times I laughed and cry.

College is the only party your parents will pay for.

Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up.  These are the best days of our lives.  The only thing that matters is just following your heart and eventually you'll finally get it right.

Everyone should own a convertible, they are great for mental health.
