Goal Achieved
I promised to step it up a bit in May..let's see how I did!
Thursday May 1 - Ripped in 30
Friday - Ripped in 30
Saturday - 3.2 mile run
Sunday - None
Monday - 5.1 mile run
Tuesday - Kickboxing levels 2 and 3
Wednesday - 2.6 mile run
Weekly Total - 10.9 miles
May Total Miles - 10.9
May workout total - 6
Can we take a closer look at Monday for a minute...5.1 miles!!!!!!! That is the longest I have ever run before...ever! It is a goal I have had for a year now, and without any extra training or anything, just decided to go for it a mile into my run on Monday. It was a little painful {maybe since I had only gotten 5 hours of sleep the night before and had nothing but coffee for breakfast before I ran} but I did it!! I had seen there was a 10k in my area on Memorial Day, and after I finished the 5, figured I could train in the next few weeks. Unfortunately I hurt my knee pretty bad during that run, so I think I'm going to have to out that idea to the side for right now. But let me tell you, if you have any sort of fitness/running goals, make sure to just do it! You'll feel on top of the world:)
