Weekend in Orlando

We might have woken up Saturday no longer at Disney, but we were still ready to have some fun in Orlando!  The hotel resort we were staying at was just beautiful.  Our suite had two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer!  The was probably one of the most helpful things on our trip! There was also a pool, lake, and playground on property as well.  Perfect!

We spent the morning picking up some decent coffee for a change, grabbing a few things at the grocery store, {love you Publix!} and then spent some time in the nice heated pool the resort had.  Emmy was loving the pool so much that when we came back upstairs she insisted on playing pool in the living room.  She was the lifeguard and all her dolls were the kids playing in the pool.

Skip and Emmy headed out to try and fish, while Charlie and I had some snuggle time.

Unfortunately they came back rather quickly, as the hotel wouldn't let them fish withe impending storm coming {obviously it was still raining every day of our vacation}.  So we all decided to go outlet shopping.  We ended up turning away from that as well when we saw how impossibly crowded the parking lot was.  Normally I wouldn't mind,  but we had forgotten the umbrellas and it was now pouring.

So we went back to the hotel for a bit to have lunch and relax before heading back out again later {with umbrellas!}  We did a little shopping {me baby-wearing Charlie the whole time was interesting} and grabbed some Sonic for dinner.

Once we ate, Skip and Emmy headed out to do some bowling.  Charlie and I made sure to have some fun as well, but searching for ducks and birds, as well as having a sweet chocolate treat!

It was a fun night had by all.  We finally got the girls to bed and then my night really began.  I had only a few hours to change our hotel into a 3rd birthday / Father's Day wonderland!
