Don't let this fresh-looking face fool you.... ....Up until two weeks ago, Baby C hated sleeping. I talked about it a little bit here in regards to her swaddle. But after that post it just seemed to get worse. She wouldn't sleep swaddled, or unswaddled. Most of our nights looked like this.....greasy, exhausted, zombie-like Mommy and a baby who had been up for two hours starting at 11:00 pm already. The best option we got was swaddling her in the beginning of the night while we were still up. She slept for a few hours like that most of the time. Then we would go unswaddle her before we went to bed. She would wake for a bit, sleep a bit, wake a bit, etc. It was miserable. She was napping during the day pretty good, but with a very energetic three year old running around, there was no opportunity for me to nap with her. Something had to give. I was prepared for sleepless nights when she was a newborn. But after ...
Josiah had this problem at his birthday party on Saturday. We had to make a sudden and swift exit as he was already IN his spare outfit. Lol
ReplyDeleteThat happened to us once when Riley was 3 weeks old! Thankfully I had an extra onesie and pants for instances like that!
ReplyDeleteThis… happened to me!!! Ahhh!!!
ReplyDeleteI have learned my lesson the hard way too. My son had a puking incident at a restaurant. I had spare clothes for him in the car but nothing for me to change into. Luckily we were close to our house. Now I have an extra shirt in the car for me too!
ReplyDeleteso, where's the story???!!! Come on, Mandy, you're holding out on us!
ReplyDeleteI'm always thinking that I should have an extra outfit for ME too, because when my son has an accident, it usually ends up on me. I haven't put an extra outfit in my car yet, but I'm sure I will after I have that "I wish I had it now" moment.
